It's a shock when you initially put the device on a sore spot, the heat amplified by the sensitivity of the inflamed skin, but your skin and the device adjust. The good news is that those zits didn't become big and didn't scar when they healed.

Do know that with diligence and patience, it will work. Be very aggressive. Do double-cycles (allow the Zeno to remain on your skin after it beeps, then press the button for a second cycle) every few hours as long as the bump is detectable in any way. You may get very slight burning of your skin (causing a whitish film or slight peeling) and you may go through your cartridge tips quickly, but believe me, it's worth it to avoid the horrible months-long process of cystic acne.
